Not an experienced writer or content creator? Not a problem! We’d love to help you perfect your writing craft. What’s way more important than how you write is that you have something to say and share, and it can be in English or Spanish.
Are you a mom whose family customs, traditions, background, etc., are not yet well-represented in other local media?
Are you a mom who loves writing, is building her portfolio, or needs a creative outlet? Do you have a perspective on life and parenting that’s worth sharing? (Spoiler alert . . . you do.)
Do you have tips, tricks, DIY projects, recipes, or other practical things to share?
Do you love the El Paso area and know this place’s ins and outs to help create fantastic community resources for our audience?
Are you interested in interviewing local women and sharing their stories?
Are you a wiz on social media and love making reels?
If any of these are true for you, we might need your voice on El Paso Mom!

What We Are Looking For
El Paso is such a beautiful mix of people of different cultural, racial, ethnic, linguistic, and religious backgrounds. We desire to build a team that reflects the diversity of our vibrant city. We want moms of babies, expecting moms, toddlers, preschoolers, elementary-aged kiddos, preteens, and teens. Our team should be diverse in color, ethnicity, language, age range, family types, etc.
We are interested in receiving applications from women from all walks of life, seasons, and stages, but here are a few target roles we hope to fill:
+ Moms who live in Las Cruces.
+ Single moms.
+ Researchers–moms who love to compile a list of resources and helpful info for others.
What El Paso Mom Contributors Give
+ Approximately one article or piece of social media content per month.
+ A 12-month commitment.
+ An active presence on social media.
+ Availability for occasional contributor meetings.
+ A passion for moms, kids, and the El Paso area.
+ Social media posts on their own platforms in exchange for free experiences, products, or services from some of our partners.
What El Paso Mom Contributors Get
+ Your photo and bio on the El Paso Mom website with links to your personal blog, business, and/or social media handles if you choose to share them.
+ Voice and influence with a growing readership and digital audience.
+ A professional headshot and team photo shoot with El Paso Mom.
+ Potential opportunity to test products, attend business openings, and/or visit local businesses for review purposes.
+ Contributors could be paid $$ for some submissions.
+ Extra income $$$ opportunity through our sales referral program.
+ Continuing education and professional development in writing, blogging, SEO, social media, and event management (as available).
