Vanessa Bush

Co-Owner

With a background in writing, marketing, and bringing women together, Vanessa has found a sweet spot as the owner of El Paso Mom. Vanessa is married to her high school sweetheart, Nate, and they have three kids (Micah, Corban, & Evangeline). When she is not chauffeuring children about town, Vanessa works as the part-owner of an advertising agency, enjoys volunteering at church, loves watching college football, and drinks a little too much coffee. She is passionate about connecting women with each other, loving her people, and finding the good in her place.

Lauren Hall

Co-Owner

Lauren has a background in marketing and advertising. She is passionate about bringing people together in a meaningful way, and that's what brought her to El Paso Mom. Raising two kids as a young mom she realized that her background in marketing could be put to good use connecting moms together in the community. She loves to travel, find new foods to love, and spend afternoons in the yard or outside.

Ana Diaz

Community Engagement Coordinator

Ana Diaz was born in Salt Lake City, Utah but was raised in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico and El Paso, TX. As the daughter of a single Mexican mother, Ana Diaz is a first-generation college graduate who completed her education at The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) with a degree in sociology. She’s the mother of three beautiful children, a son born in 2011, a daughter born in 2020, and daughter born in 2022. Ana is also a wife to a local real estate agent. She is a PTA member at her local school and school district and a full-time employee at UTEP.

Margo Tapia

Sales Coordinator

Margo is a mother of three who was born and raised in Albuquerque and now resides in Keller, TX. She has a passion for the great outdoors and a love for connecting people with things to do in the community. Margo and her husband take the kids on road trips often, go on evening family walks, and love biking, hiking and running. Margo's other hobbies include yoga, buying local, relaxing with lavender infused products, and indulging in self care at local hidden gems. She is excited to connect local businesses and moms in the El Paso area!

Marybeth Lobato

Project Manager

Marybeth is an Albuquerque native who has been married to her husband, Jacob, since September 2018. They lived in Roswell, NM for the majority of their relationship and moved back to Albuquerque in December 2021. Together, they are parents to two beautiful children. Her daughter Ava passed away shortly after she was born in 2019. She gave birth to her son Carson in 2020. Marybeth is passionate about helping other parents who have lost babies. Marybeth enjoys coffee, matcha, a good book, white wine, and all the pizza. She can often be found with her family at a baseball game, a great Taco Tuesday, or a brewery.

Paige Pacini

Paige is a mom to three hilarious, energetic boys. In her pre-kid life, Paige worked as a licensed mental health counselor, but she shelved her empathetic listening and insightful questions to change diapers, race cars on the kitchen floor, and mediate toddler wrestling matches. While Paige loves to be there for (almost) every moment with her children, she also loves to get away and connect with other moms for dinner or a walk in the beautiful Albuquerque sun. Paige is married to her high-school sweetheart, Ben, and they work together to raise their three sons with lots of laughter and lots of love.

Silvia Montoya

Social Media Coordinator

Silvia Montoya converted the sophisticated marketing and traveling world into a SAHM new adventure. She now also manages a family business from home. Silvia was born in Chihuahua, Mexico and lived in Juarez almost her whole life. She is new to El Paso. In 2015, she married Ever Saenz, and they have two little girls, Emma (2018) and Emilia (2021). Her passions are traveling, event planning, and spending time with family and friends. When possible, she practices yoga and barre. Her hope is that in joining El Paso Mom, she can highlight the bicultural city we live in.

Adriana Salas de Santiago

Adriana is a proud Mexican-American, born and raised in El Paso, Texas. Formerly, she worked as a Public Affairs Specialist at White Sands Missile Range for 10 years. During the pandemic, she had to venture into unknown territory as a stay-at-home mom for her four children, each one year apart. Adriana and her husband Adrian have been happily married for nine years. Last year they decided to open a woodworking business out of their home that has allowed them to meet several talented local small business owners. They love El Paso's sense of community, unique culture, and the hidden gems they still find during their outings around town. Adriana loves her family, writing, crafting, baking, hiking, volunteering, and sewing, in that order. Her greatest goal as a parent is to raise fulfilled, mindful, and compassionate children.

Alejandra Salgado-Hernandez

Ale is a proud Latina born and raised in the Sun City. She is a proud mom, wife, educator, and scholar. As a first-generation college student, she holds a Bachelor's Degree in Math and Science Education, and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and is currently working on her Doctorate degree at UTEP. Ale met the love of her life (and best friend) in high school. They have been together since 2010 and happily married since 2017. After a struggle with infertility, God blessed them with four beautiful babies born back-to-back. Their not-so-little family is her pride and joy. Her life purpose is to pave the way for her family, raise her children with love, and embrace their culture in a God-loving home. Ale loves sharing her experience and the struggles she has overcome in motherhood while connecting with her friends and followers. She also finds purpose in donating her breastmilk as an approved donor at the Mother’s Milk Bank for NICU babies.

Amber Narvaez

Amber is a blogger and comfort enthusiast hailing from the Carolinas. She came to El Paso with her husband Luis via the Army and they are blessed with three little ones (two boys and one girl). She is a SAHM, blogger, and critical care registered nurse with a love of wine, true crime, fashion, and all things food. Amber is a huge advocate for postpartum mental health and often shares her life as a busy neurospicy mom on the go. Her love language is coffee and good books. In her spare time, she loves running, exploring new places, going to wine tastings, cooking new dishes, and watching Netflix.

Ana Rivas

Ana is the owner of her photography business, Ana Lidia Photography LLC, which centered on capturing newborn to first-year milestones. She also loves capturing sunsets for outdoor family portraits. Ana became a business owner only after being blessed with her first baby girl. Her role as an early childhood educator has been paused ever since. She and her husband have been blessed with two more boys, making this party of five the one they always dreamed of. Ana feels truly honored to be able to help families create memories they will look back on and cherish for a lifetime.

Hey El Paso Mamas! My name is Anahi. I was born and raised in our beautiful Sun City. I have an amazing husband, a talented artist as a son, and a sassy daughter! I love the community El Paso has from all our locally-owned businesses to the beautiful city views! My favorite hobby is definitely working out, (I know, weird) but I love the rush of a good workout and a good run! For work, I do what I love, which is helping buyers get into the perfect home.

Alex Sattelmeier

Alexandria (or Alex) Sattelmeier is a 30-something stay-at-home Mom who thrives off of quality time with her loved ones and dance parties. She was born and raised in the Sun City. She's been married to her best friend and husband Caleb since 2012. They have two living children born in 2017 and 2019. Their road to parenthood was not an easy one (loss, failed adoption, and infertility), but boy was it worth it! Their loss led to Alex's candle business May Flowers Candle Co. When she's not wiping boogers or pouring candles, Alex enjoys gardening, reading (The Lord of the Rings is her favorite book series), or walking around her neighborhood.

Alexandra Suarez-Lee

Texas girl Alexandra is a devoted wife, mother of two, and a 4th generation El Paso native with deep roots in the border town. Alexandra recently decided to pause her successful dental career and take on the role of a full-time stay-at-home mom and has undoubtedly been enjoying every second of it! She is an active PTA member while her husband serves on the PTA board of their local elementary school. With her free time, Alexandra and her family enjoy traveling and exploring new dishes either at home or new restaurants. During the warmer months, you will find Alexandra camping or on a trail. With her fingers always in some sort of project, El Paso Mom was a great fit for this mom who likes to keep busy. If you see her around town, make sure to say hello.

Brenda Soltero

Brenda is unapologetically obsessed with making modern motherhood work for her. She is a local insurance broker, the wife of a first responder, and a clean freak with a messy closet. As a contributor, Brenda's goal is to bond with local moms over lighthearted topics like home organization and summer camps, to the more serious topics like navigating children's food allergies and growing up around substance abuse. She is married to her high school sweetheart, David. Together they have three children, Kristen, Kathryn, and Zachary. Brenda lives on the west side of El Paso just down the street from her in-laws, making free babysitting and emergency paper towel rolls easily accessible.

Carla Arzate

Lover of all things Disney, Carla is a dedicated wife and mother born and raised in El Paso, TX. She adores her loving husband and their beautiful daughters and she is currently a business graduate student at Western Governors University. Her hobbies include ghost tours, Harry Potter movie marathons, and iced coffee dates. She hopes to bring El Paso mamas together by inspiring them through her words and experiences.

Carrie Ring

Carrie Ring has a twenty-two-year career background in marketing, advertising, graphic design, and event management. She is a Certified Festival Event Executive from the International Festival & Events Association and is a passionate and dedicated marketing consultant, mindset coach, event coordinator, and graphic designer. She is fascinated and inspired by the world of color, typography, photography, print design, and the impact those elements combined have on communication. Her hobbies include cooking, baking, and charcuterie board building, as she loves to entertain her friends and family. Her family consists of three amazing children born in 2006, 2008, and 2010, her wonderful husband, and two adorable boxers.

Cindy Mancha

Cindy is an El Paso native raised in the Lower Valley. She is a graduate from Riverside High School and UTEP. She married her best friend from high school and has a spunky son (born in 2020) and is a nurse who has worked in the hospital setting for 7 years. After experiencing a home birth, she realized her true passion was in birth work and is now a birth doula (labor coach). She is passionate about respecting and advocating for women during their birth journeys as well as building community for these moms. She loves her family and is blessed to be able to live next door to her parents. She loves El Paso and cannot wait to help bring mothers in our community together.

Along with her husband Ryan, she navigates the intricacies of feeding picky eaters and raising a biracial, binational, and bilingual family. Ericka’s greatest purpose is to teach her kids to love God and to embrace their bicultural background.

Jess Lapensee

Jess is a proud Air Force wife and boy mom. She lives in El Paso with her husband, Steve, their son, Gavin (born in 2020), and their two dogs, Remy and Cruz. Jess has a B.S. in Marketing from Wayne State University in Detroit and currently works as a Senior Communications Manager for a Bitcoin mining company. Jess was born and raised in Michigan and also lived in Las Vegas for over 10 years. An avid sports fan, you can often find Jess and her husband cheering on their hometown teams! In her free time, she enjoys solo trips to Target, baking with her son, snowboarding, and reading.

Kristal Sapien

Kristal Sapien is a local author and mommy. Her goal in writing is to encourage and empower others by reminding them that they are not alone. She and her daughter love books and helping out the local community. They lived in Kentucky for a short time and often spend time in Florida, but El Paso will always be home. Lorena Barrio

Lorena, also known as Lolo grew up in the El Paso/Juarez area, is a full-time Sales Admin for a beverage company and a full-time boy mom. In 2019, she married Rodrigo, the kindhearted guy she met at the 2017 Coachella Festival. They have been attending music festivals together ever since. Lolo loves binge-watching tv shows when everyone is asleep. She loves black coffee, Zumba classes, and is passionate about photography. She used to be a night-life photographer, which shifted to family and children once she had her firstborn. Lorena also loves nature and traveling. Lorena is eager to meet other moms and walk alongside them in the crazy ride called motherhood. She truly believes in the phrase "Moms supporting moms," loves shopping local, and is proud to be part of the El Paso community.

Melissa Montalvo

Melissa is a loving mother of three who is married to a Marine turned educator. Her children range in all stages of life; a teenager, a pre-teen, and a preschooler. She also has four adult stepchildren, making them a family of nine! Prior to her career in real estate, Melissa worked in the healthcare industry for over 10 years. However, in 2019, she began a new career in real estate, which has allowed her to be present with her family. Melissa is a woman of faith who is passionate about serving her community and empowering other women. She believes that every woman has the potential to achieve their goals and overcome the guilt that comes with being a mom. Melissa's ultimate goal is to become a life coach and serve as an inspiration to other moms who want to balance their careers and family while pursuing their passions and reaching their full potential.

Melissa Watkins

Melissa is a proud, lifelong El Pasoan and is “Mama” to her fearless daughter Béya. She and her Houston-born husband Jerel are UTEP Graduates and met while he was completing his final season with UTEP football. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, and her Master’s degree in Construction Management and works full-time for a local Civil Engineering Company. When she is not on construction sites or soaking in every second of family time, she is with the incredible women of the UTEP chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha, where she serves as General Advisor. She has a passion for lifting other women up and for being a resource (and student) to other moms whenever she can be.

Nicole Hector

Nicole Hector is an Esthetician and the owner of Opulent Skin Suite, a boutique Facial Spa located in El Paso, TX. Nicole has worked in the beauty and wellness industry since 2012 and opened her spa in 2018. In addition to being a self-care advocate and wellness enthusiast, she is a mom of two, a wife to an Army Veteran, a dog mom, and an avid bruncher. She also enjoys picnics, theater, shopping, and meeting new and interesting people. Nicole aspires to continue to help women boost their self-confidence through self care practices and be an activist in the community for wellness initiatives.

Towauna Schuler

Towauna likes to be called Tee. She is from Guyana, South America and lived on the sister isle of Antigua and Barbuda for a large part of her childhood. Her military career brought her to El Paso, TX ,and her family of three has made the borderland their home for 10 + years. She loves sharing recipes, meal planning, and cooking tips with moms who may need help in that area. She enjoys the outdoors and picnics are her favorite during the warmer months.

Vickie Enriquez

Victoria Enriquez is known to her family and friends as Vickie. She was born and raised in El Paso and spent some time away after grad school launching her career in engineering. By day she is an Environmental, Health, and Safety Engineer, and by night mama to Emiliano, Emi for short. She has been married to her husband Roger since July of 2015. She is a coach’s wife and loves every second of their sports-filled, busy lives! In the fall, you can find her and Emi in the football stands, and in the spring, you’ll find them on the baseball diamond cheering on their #1 guy. Her husband and son are the greatest joys. Vickie spends her free time volunteering with the Junior League of El Paso giving back to her community. She wants her son to grow up in a life of service and giving back, teaching him kindness and compassion.
