Japanese-Inspired Miso Marinated Chicken Recipe

4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs/breasts

1/4 cup white miso paste

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons honey

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Sliced green onions (for garnish)

In a bowl, whisk together the miso paste, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, and rice vinegar until well combined.

Marinate the chicken breasts in the mixture for at least 30 minutes  or overnight for maximum flavor. Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat.

Cook the chicken for 6-8 minutes per side on the grill or bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes until done. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.

Once cooked, transfer the chicken to a serving platter and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Serve hot and enjoy the flavorful fusion of miso-marinated goodness!
